Commercial property law — Checklist of purchaser for reviewing contracts
Introductory note: |
Commonly, at the time you are asked to act for a purchaser, a copy of the contract will be available. If you do not have a copy, you should obtain one immediately from the vendor or the vendor's solicitor or conveyancer or the agent. On obtaining the contract, you should read it carefully. |
How to use this checklist: |
The contract must be explained to the purchaser and, if there is more than one purchaser, to each purchaser. There should be no misunderstanding as to each of the items in this checklist. |
